West Jakarta Social Sub-agency allocates budget Rp 1.1 billion for physical assistance procurement for people with disability this year.
460 wheelchairs and 260 hearing aids
West Jakarta Social Sub-agency Head, Suprapto said his side prepares Rp 1.1 billion for procurement of 720 physical assistances for people with disability in 2025.
"Hundreds of physical assistances this year are 460 wheelchairs and 260 hearing aids," he said, Tuesday (1/7).
Social Agency Distributed 2,597 Physical Aids in 2024According to the plan, his side will start the procurement in February or March 2025.
He added that people with disability in West Jakarta can propose for the assistance via West Jakarta Social Sub-agency office.
"People with disability can get the assistance by submitting the letter from RT/RW to urban village to get PM1 letter," he added.
PM1 letter from urban village then taken to West Jakarta Social Sub-agency for field verification by social officer to ensure the assistance in right on target.
"If the verification success, the assistance will be distributed directly," he stated.
